The Story of Harriet Tubman
Tuesday, March 3 • 7:30 PM
Wednesday, March 4 • 7:30 PM
Hewitt Union Ballroom

A Talk-Back with the audience follows both performances.

This theatrical storytelling presentation allows the audience to follow the development of Araminta Ross as she becomes the iconic heroine Harriet Tubman. Five characters, all played by Natalie Daise, share their perspective on the events that shaped Harriet. Coded message songs, as well as a haunting melody by Kim and Reggie Harris, add texture to her unique and uplifting story.

Parking in the Culkin Hall lot (E-6) and nearby lot E-18.

The Syracuse Post-Standard calls it one of five “not-to-miss” theatre events of 2015!
