Christopher McEvoy: New Work
October 27-November 12, 2017
Opening Reception: Friday, November 10th, 5-7pm
Christopher McEvoy’s work, created during a recent sabbatical leave, is primarily concerned with observing and manipulating organic forms and systems through various modes of abstraction. In the act of painting and assemblage, McEvoy documents the struggle between his interior and exterior world, the visceral and personal as it relates to the physicality of place. His exploration into these dichotomies involves generating imagery through drawing, digital manipulation, and collage. The resulting images become the basis for an extended painting process.
